30 weeks also marks the beginning of our childbirth classes.
It was a very interesting experience. I have to say it was entertaining listening to the nurse give recommendations on relaxation techniques to a psychologist who has a specialty in pain management. There were some good things in the class, especially for dads, but when it runs from 7:30pm to 10:00pm and your instructor/nurse is about as exciting as a broken merry go round you get tired pretty quick (especially the pregnant one!). We'll see how the rest of the classes go. Next class we watch THE VIDEOS! Remember...just breathe.
We also just returned from our consultation with the physician who is certainly going to be our pediatrician. She was amazing! We count ourselves lucky to have found someone and a practice who fit our criteria on the first interview. Plus...it is only 0.4 miles from our home!
Katie seems to be handling the 3+lb baby and the 3rd trimester well. Addi is almost constantly in motion. It's amazing to see her belly contort as Addi does flips and kicks! She is a really strong girl. We have an ultrasound this Monday, and will hopefully have more photos then.
Stay tuned...with only 6-10 weeks left more posts will be coming soon.
